World Water Week is organised by the SIWI in Stockholm every year and this year the theme is Water For Sustainable Growth.
Over 3,300 individuals involved and 300 organisations from 130 countries participate in this important event in Sweden. With experts, practicioners, young professionals and business innovators from all over the world coming together to try to develop strategies and solutions to the all-important water related challenges that face the world today.
While we in the west take water very much for granted, a vast proportion of the world's populatrion lack even the most basic of water facilities.
Young people are very much a part of the SIWI with annual prizes for innovation and youth input.
The ongoing migration crisis and global warming are a huge part of the water issues this year.
