Andrew Fairlie, unpretentious and hasn't sold out like a lot of other celebrity chefs.

All the fishermen in Peterhead who risk there lives to get us fresh fish daily.

What do you like to cook and why?

Breads, because its therapeutic and you cant beat the smell and turning so little into so much.

When did you decide to become a chef?

At school but tried lots of other jobs first.

What do you remember about School dinners?

Tangy toms

What was your favourite school dinner?

Tangy toms (my school dinners weren't very good)

What would be your perfect meal?

Medium rare fillet of beef, home cooked chunky chips.

Robo coupe

A builder or policeman

Some place simple and homely.
